This EP was all about the beast and the part after the 3:30 break, coming rather from a happier piano track background (see A side) this one was a bit atypical for Ramos. You would rather expect something like this from Tango & Ratty at that time.
Need help! Owned this vinyl way back and can remember a track that's not on this ep? The track had a sample off the USA chat show Sally Jessy Raphael of her saying "you say you were brainwashed by voodoo witch doctors" Can someone as oldskool as me remember this track and can help identify the title?
I don't know the track but that sample seems to be from the 1991 "The Addams Family" movie.
It's all about phantasmI remember being at dreamscape 10 and slipmmat dropped this last but one tune after a cracking set , and just went mental with that thumping bass and beautiful piano riff
a creepy, seductive start, and then like an old childhood memory,, that familiar, groovy- "clippity clop" says hello and you are in the zone- again!!.Like the key to everything- all is understood and connected- your auditory DMT trip has begun. It never gets old,, - a pacemaker for the soul.../This is one of the best..Long Live The Infirmary!!!!!
Truely superb.
An unsual release as it stands out as the only classic '93-style darkside EP on this label, although released in approx mid-1994. Very different from anything these boys released before or since...(usually predominantly quality uplifting piano/vocal Hardcore/Trancecore), but this is just twisted and dark - it's simply wicked.
